I am passionate about helping students grow and giving the educators who support them practical tools to make learning more manageable and meaningful.

 

My background includes experience as a tutor, special education teacher, homeschool educator, curriculum developer, technology trainer, and educator trainer. I also hold a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology and a master’s degree in Education and Curriculum Development.

 

These experiences have allowed me to see education from different perspectives; as the person teaching the student, developing the curriculum, organizing the systems, using the technology, and figuring out what to do when a learner needs something different.

 

One thing has remained consistent throughout my work:

Students make meaningful progress when we understand what they need and provide the right instruction, environment, and support to help them move forward.

 

That belief is at the heart of Ms. Hall’s Student & Educator Support.

 

My Experience as a Homeschool Educator

Homeschooling has given me firsthand experience with the many responsibilities that come with teaching a child at home.

 

It involves much more than choosing a curriculum. You are planning instruction, finding or creating learning materials, identifying skill gaps, monitoring progress, keeping records, organizing your learning environment, and deciding what to do when something simply isn't working.

 

I understand how quickly those responsibilities can become overwhelming.

 

That is why a major part of my work is helping homeschool educators create learning plans, curriculum, spaces, systems, and routines that work for their families without trying to recreate a traditional classroom at home.

 

The goal is to provide structure where it helps and flexibility where it matters.

A Moment That Changed Everything

I once worked with a student who had been described as unable to read at grade level and highly dependent on support.

 

With clear instruction, consistent expectations, and meaningful support, he became one of the strongest readers in the class and began working independently within weeks.

 

The student did not change.
The instruction and environment did.

 

That experience changed the way I looked at student difficulty.

 

Instead of beginning with “What can't this student do?” I began asking better questions about the learner, the task, the skills involved, the environment, and the support being provided.

 

Those questions eventually became the foundation of the S.T.U.D.E.N.T. Lens Framework.

 

A Student-Centered Approach

The S.T.U.D.E.N.T. Lens Framework guides how I look beyond grades, test scores, and labels to better understand the whole learner.

 

It considers:

The goal is not simply to identify what a student is struggling with. It is to understand why the difficulty may be occurring, what support may help, and how we can create a pathway toward greater independence.

How I Support Students and Homeschool Educators

Through Ms. Hall’s Student & Educator Support, I bring my experience in education, curriculum, technology, and organization together to support both students and the homeschool educators guiding their learning.

 

Student Support provides personalized K–5 tutoring designed to strengthen foundational skills, address learning gaps, and build confidence and independence.

 

Homeschool Support provides practical guidance and resources for teaching at home, including educator support, custom learning plans, custom curriculum, learning space setup, and technology training.

 

Whether I am working directly with a student or supporting the person teaching them, the purpose remains the same:
